About Bughouse
How Bughouse works
Four players form two teams; partners sit at different boards and play opposite colours. Whenever you capture a piece it goes to your partner's hand, and they may drop it on their board just as in Crazyhouse. Both games run at the same time, and the team wins when either board is won.
Talking to your partner is allowed and essential — 'I need a knight', 'don't trade queens' — because the flow of pieces between boards decides the game more than either position alone.
