Mouse Tester

Click inside the test area to check each button: left, middle (wheel click), right, and the back/forward side buttons found on many mice. The matching indicator lights up while the button is held and counts every press.

The scroll counter tracks wheel movement in both directions, and the double-click panel measures the gap between two rapid clicks in milliseconds.

Double-click malfunction: if the double-click counter increases when you only clicked once, the button's switch is worn and bouncing — the most common mouse fault. A healthy intentional double-click typically has a gap of 100–300 ms.

Scroll issues: roll the wheel slowly in one direction. If the counters increase in both directions, the wheel encoder is dirty or failing.

If the right-click context menu opens outside the test area, that is normal — the tester only suppresses it inside the dashed box.
