How the online whiteboard works
The whiteboard is an infinite canvas that runs entirely in your browser. Pick a tool from the toolbar — pen, highlighter, shapes, text, sticky notes or the eraser — then draw directly with a mouse, trackpad, touch screen or stylus. Scroll to zoom and drag with the hand tool to pan around the canvas.
Everything you draw is saved automatically in your browser's local storage, so you can close the tab and come back later without losing your work. Nothing is uploaded: this site has no server and never sees your drawings.
Tips for teaching and note-taking
Use the math tool to insert LaTeX formulas — type an expression such as \frac{a}{b} or \sqrt{x^2 + y^2} and it renders as typeset mathematics you can move and resize like any other object. This makes the board handy for tutoring sessions and study notes.
Undo and redo cover every action, and the export button saves the visible board as a PNG image you can paste into documents or share with students. For a bigger drawing area, use the full-screen link above the board.
Keyboard shortcuts
Ctrl/Cmd + Z undoes, Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + Z (or Ctrl + Y) redoes, and Delete removes the selected objects. Hold Shift while drawing a shape to keep it proportional. Ctrl/Cmd + scroll zooms around the cursor.
Drawings are stored only in this browser. Clearing site data, using private browsing, or exceeding the browser's storage quota (roughly 5 MB) can discard them — export anything you want to keep.
